Facing My Big Bad Wolves (Part 1)Hello friends! Last month, I shared that I was feeling burnt out and had to pause from launching a new product for my business. However, through rest and spending time for deeper reflection, I realized that I needed to address some major underlying obstacles. These obstacles, which I call the “Big Bad Wolves,” often keep us from living the life we truly want. They can take many different forms for each individual. For me, the first Big Bad Wolf was the feeling of “not enough-ness.” I felt like I wasn’t smart enough, eloquent enough, or healed enough to pursue my business dreams. These feelings of inadequacy and self-doubt can manifest as a fear of being exposed as a fraud. This Big Bad Wolf can also show up in one’s relationship with food and their body as well. I often hear my clients share, “I’m not skinny/pretty enough”, “I didn’t exercise enough”, or “I didn’t eat clean enough.” Our brains then internalize these insidious messages as I AM not enough. This feeling of “not enough-ness is” one of the biggest obstacles to enacting any life change. To overcome this, I used three strategies that I want to share with you:
Remember, taking a break and addressing the Big Bad Wolves in your life is okay. By using these strategies, you start to overcome the obstacles in life. You are capable of achieving great things because YOU ARE ENOUGH! Next Steps:
